Deal Pipeline — Troubleshooting & FAQs

I accidentally moved a deal to the wrong stage

Just drag it back. There's no confirmation step for stage moves, so correcting one is as easy as making it — drag the card back to the correct column.

Can a deal skip stages?

Yes. You can move a deal directly between any two stages — for example, from Sourced straight to Closed. The product doesn't enforce a required order.

What happens if I delete a deal?

Deleting a deal permanently removes it along with its logged activity and any linked contacts. You'll be asked to confirm before this happens, and it can't be undone.

Does everyone on my team have the same access to Deal Pipeline?

Everyone can view every deal. Adding, editing, and deleting deals needs the Create and edit deals permission, which Admins, Partners, and Analysts have; Viewers can only look. Deals can't be limited to specific people. See Settings — Overview & Concepts for the full roles table.

"Max can't be below min"

The deal size range is the wrong way round. Put the smaller amount in Min and the larger in Max, or leave Max empty for a single amount.

Someone isn't in the Assigned GP list

The list shows your firm's team members. Invite them under Settings › Team first. A deal assigned to someone who has since left keeps their name.

Does editing a deal reset its days in stage?

No. Days in stage counts from when the deal entered its current stage, so only moving it to a different stage starts the count again.
