Dashboard — How-Tos & Workflows

The Dashboard is a read-only overview — there's nothing to create or edit here. Everything you see is pulled live from Portfolio, Deal Pipeline, and Diligence data entered in those modules.

Reading the Dashboard

  1. Open Dashboard from the left navigation.
  2. Check the Portfolio NAV card at the top for your current total portfolio value and gain since entry.
  3. Scan the six summary cards for a quick pulse on companies, capital invested, TVPI, active deals, dry powder, and open diligence workspaces.
  4. Use the Holdings table to see your largest positions at a glance, or the Deal Funnel to see where deals are concentrated in your pipeline.

Example: answering an LP's question on the spot. On a call, an LP asks how much capital the firm still has to deploy. The Dashboard's Dry Powder card answers it ($64M), and Total Invested and Gross TVPI cover the follow-up questions, without opening a spreadsheet.

Jumping to detail

Every card and table row links back to its source module:

  • Click a summary card to open its list:

    CardOpens
    Companies, Total Invested, Gross TVPIPortfolio
    Active DealsDeal Pipeline
    Dry PowderLP Reporting
    Open DDDue Diligence
  • Click a company in the Holdings table, or use View all →, to go to the full Portfolio list.

  • Click a stage in the Deal Funnel to open the deal board on that stage: it scrolls to the stage's column and highlights it.

If a number on the Dashboard looks wrong, the fix is always in the source module — update the company, deal, or fund record there, and the Dashboard reflects it automatically.

If you're just getting started

Until you've added at least one portfolio company or deal, the Dashboard shows an empty-state message prompting you to add data. Head to Portfolio or Deal Pipeline to get started.
