# Deal Pipeline — Advanced & Customization

## Assigned GP

The **Assigned GP** field on a deal is currently chosen from a fixed list
of names rather than pulled from a firm-wide team or user directory.

> support — there's no self-service way to add to it today.

## Stage progression

Deal Pipeline doesn't enforce any order for moving deals between stages —
you can move a deal directly from Sourced to Closed, or backward from Term
Sheet to Screening, without restriction. Use this flexibility deliberately;
the product won't warn you if a move looks unusual.
